For Xoru: The Nightmare Wars, we designed the Storage Room, an unsettling environment shaped by its stark simplicity and lingering sense of decay.

• Environment & Layout – the room featured straightforward storage elements, arranged in a clear and functional manner without obstruction or clutter.

• Atmosphere & Mood – dim lighting and long shadows gave the space a heavy, uneasy tone, turning an otherwise ordinary room into something more disturbing.

• Gameplay Integration – the design enhanced tension by encouraging players to stay alert, heightening suspense even during quiet moments of exploration.

The Storage Room reinforced the horror atmosphere of Xoru: The Nightmare Wars, transforming a plain utility space into an unnerving part of the game’s world.
